We jumped through those
hoops, even when the rings
were on fire. We stunted
growth and creativity to fit
the mold of what would be
accepted as a concept and
approved by those that know
everything on councils.
We painfully lived a single
vicarious life of a character in
order to not be burned at the
stake of misguided governs
and we became bigots and
sexists, prejudiced against
those that didn’t fit the mold.
It was long past time for
evolution and change,
through a revolution.
We have taken great strides
on
ReVo
to do away with all
discrimination and cliquish
councils.
Room approvals don’t have
to meet anyone’s standards of
knowledge or interpretation
of a fictional genre. They just
have to be ready to receive in-
terested parties in the concept
and be technically prepared
for a public room on the
whochat.
Site rules do not sway towards
one group or another and
everyone is welcome to play
who, what, and however many
characters they wish.
We have not only stepped
out of the box, but crushed it
beneath us as we introduced
transilient rooms to continue
encouraging the regrowth of
creativity in our community.
We have insured that our
members have the latest tech-
nology in the form of click &
drag and wysiwyg in our file
manager and room editor.
We listen. We try new ideas.
We say
‘why not’
when oth-
ers say
‘why’.
We were the
first to say
‘Yes’
to optional
colors on the whochats. The
first to say
‘Yes’
to temporary
public rooms. The first to say
‘No More Discrimination’
in our site rules, and mean it.
And this is just our first year.
We have so much more on our
horizon. Ideas upon ideas that
we will try to work into the
mix. Outside the box is where
we want to be and looking
back on our inaugural year, we
have achieved that with great
success.
