quented, and many of the jokes that
followed; or when he was stopping a
barroom brawl that I had to go AFK
for, and those in the roomed NPCed
him getting hit in the head with a
dislodged payphone.
Q.
What is one of the sad-
dest moments?
When the former President and
father of his best friend, his prede-
cessor to the Gavel, Nicky Torino,
died in prison. Not only because a
mentor to him had been killed, but
because his death followed in the
wake of a betrayal to the Club that
Slick wrought.
Q.
What three character traits
would his friends use to describe
him?
Ruthless, Generous, Shameless
Q.
List five words that describe
your character.
Vicious, Disciplined, Conflicted,
Protective, Shameless
Q.
What has impacted your
character most and how?
The disappearance of his best friend
and former President, Raleigh Tori-
no. His absence pushed him into the
seat of the Presidency when he wasn’t
truly ready for it, and he’s constant-
ly curious on the whereabouts and
livelihood of the man that seemed to
have vanished, with no trace or clue
as to where he is or if he’s even alive.
But mostly, the responsibility that
has been left upon his shoulders.
Q.
What is his greatest fear?
That he’ll fail in his duties to the
club and his family.
Q.
What is his biggest regret
and why?
Orchestrating the events that got
Melanie “Felony” Torino kidnapped,
particularly that she was almost
killed in the events (not his inten-
tions), and that they proved ulti-
mately unnecessary.
Q.
Do you think a leader
should be feared or liked?
Both. But a leader should be liked
more than he is feared. Fear ensures
obedience but not loyalty. Many
great rulers that were feared were
toppled not long into their reign,
because power exerted through fear
festers resentment after a while.
Q.
Is he a leader or a follower?
He is a follower turned leader. He
was a soldier for the longest time,
and even when he was in a position
to lead it was only with influence
over the few, not the many. Now it’s
the opposite.
Q.
What kind of bike does he
drive?
After his 2008 Fat Boy was de-
stroyed, he splurged on himself and
bought a 2014 Harley Davidson Fat
Bob.
Q.
Who are his heroes?
Nicky “The Mayor” Torino, Sonny
Barger.
Q.
What does he like to do
for fun?
Leisure activities are anything he can
do during the moments he’s not el-
bow deep in Club business. Riding,
working out, smoking pot, drinking,
but mostly… fucking.
Q.
If he was an animal, which
one would he want to be?
He’d likely be a Pit-bull.
Q.
Is he a nice guy?
He can be.
Q.
Is he competitive?
Yes.
Q.
What are his pet peeves?
Stupidity. Lack of discipline. Igno-
rance. Senseless violence.
Q.
When did he join the
club?
When he was in his early twenties.
Q.
What was it like being a
probie for him?
Difficult. The President at the time,
“The Mayor” Nicky Torino, was also
a former marine. He was especially
hard on Slick, as he held him to a
higher standard.
Q.
What is Slicks position
in the club?
He is currently the President of the
Long Beach Charter.
