Our Year in Review
An Open letter from the
Manager of Edge Radio:
First and foremost, We at Edge
Radio would like to thank every-
one out there that has consistently
listened to us, come out to sup-
port our events, help promote us
and in turn themselves, and that
have helped make Edge Radio a
possibility and a fun place to tune
into.
Our goal with the Edge was to be
able to offer an enjoyable and en-
tertaining programming schedule
with great DJ’s as well as infor-
mative and interesting discussions
involving those within our com-
munity on a variety of subjects
from roleplay to real life and we
appreciate each of you for helping
make that a reality.
When we created Edge Radio we
decided that we wanted a place
where we could mix in great pro-
gramming and alot of fun while
giving our chatters another me-
dium to interact with their fellow
chatters, and to bring them in-
formative and fun programming
that would keep them up to date
on everything happening around
roleplay evolution as well as a
way to just kick back and unwind
with their friends while listening
to great music. To that end we
started with a handful of DJ’s and
have since brought in more so
that we could have as many “Live
DJ’s” not only around the clock
but each day of the week to offer
something for everyone.
Most of our DJ’s have worked
with one another at various other
online radio stations and some
our joining us for the first time
but everyone brings something
different to the table. Through
the year we have grown in just
having a couple of shows to
having almost every night of the
week covered and are constant-
ly shuffling our programming
around to get the most and the
best coverage when our listeners
want to hear it.
We have constantly worked to
evolve the online radio genre,
highlighting these talents through
our hosting of various events at
roleplay evolution, to hosting our
own events both in rooms and
on the radio, as well as upped our
game in fan and listener interac-
tion with kick ass games, shows,
and tons of swag given away to
our listeners.
We’ve had some fantastic mo-
ments thus far this year at Edge
radio from sending listeners to
concerts, the ReVo Prom, throw-
back nights, to interviewing real
life Rockstars, to the creation and
evolution of TERFER, its been a
great ride, and we have alot more
in store for everyone.
So in closing, while things have
mellowed out over the summer
as they tend to do as we all hit
vacation-time, we want you to
know we have big things planned
for the Holidays and that you
should stay tuned to Edge Radio
because it’s going to be hot, and
we’re going to knock it out of the
Park! If you thought the first year
was lively, we have some truly spe-
cial things planned coming up, so
keep tuned in and Keep Rockin!
