What kind of goals (if any)
do you have for Edfeil Storm-
blade de Jelckema?
I want her to gain even more
strength, I want her to be hap-
py and grow old so she can
hand of the reigns to her son
and settle into a contented
life of embroidery, matchmak-
ing, loving grandchildren and
prayer.
In the mean time.. I will be
happy if she can get through
the next years without fall-
ing apart because storms are
brewing.
Is Edfeil Stormblade de
Jelckema ever hard to write?
Sometimes. Her innate good-
ness is difficult to write when
RT is in turmoil. On the other
hand she is also soothing,
she brings out the best in her
player.
Have you ever written some-
thing then wondered “wtf?”If
so what did Edfeil Stormblade
de Jelckema do that you were
not expecting
Aside from the obvious typo
filters and the occasional
post coming out of the wrong
character's mouth..Edfeil is
extremely medieval in her
worldview.
Men are supposed to lead,
bloodlines and blessings
determine who is supposed to
rule, and travel is dangerous.
On the more funny part.. her
reaction when one of her close
friends had travelled to Byz-
antium and came home with
fork.
She thought it was the abso-
lute most ridiculous fad she'd
ever seen and is still abso-
lutely convinced that in a few
years people will look back at
that idea and laugh.
Definitely become queen.
Fall in love with her husband.
Become Lady of the Light to
some, not even knowing that
she is that.
If you the writer were ever to
meet your character what do
you think that would be like?
They would sit down and
spend 8 hours comparing em-
broidery stitches, techniques
and drink and eat a lot.
What other things would you
like us to know about Edfeil
Stormblade de Jelckema?
Some people think that be-
cause she is meek, and obe-
dient she is also weak. She
has an inner strength that can
barely be contained and that
can move mountains.
She is less naïve and more..
hopeful. She sees the good in
people, no matter how small
that good is, she will focus on
it.
What made you decide to try
online roleplaying?
I was new
to the whole internet thing. I
tried a 'chatsite' but the ques-
tions asl and the less than
eloquent conversations made
me x out
I think.. I remember.. looking
up something about chat
and history.. which led me do
some site with 'backdoors'
into chats. It was.. sheer co-
incidence that I ended up in
Windstorm.
I have acted for the longest
time IRL, and the roleplaying
turned out to be a natural con-
tinuation of that.

What is your favorite/least
favorite genre?
Medieval will always have my
heart. I am part of the SCA
(society of creative anachro-
nism- a medieval recreation
organization- ) in real life.
