Room
What is the name of your room?
Well, after almost a year of running the room under the name of Luna Del Cazadores, we found out that it
was actually not translating properly to what we actually wanted, so now we have changed it to Luna de los
Cazadores.

THow did your room come about?
I have been role-playing a very long time, almost
16 years, and in the last few years I have started to
think more and more about the idea of running my
own room. I know that I am a creative person and,
well, all of the people I know are creative people, so
I wanted them to have a place where they can come,
understand the overall atmosphere of the room,
and be as creative as they can be. A place where
new people to roleplay can be shown or guided
how to play or to create characters and so on. I had
expressed the idea of it to a few friends of mine,
Vendetta and neo 2681 (AKA Scott) and they both
backed me on the room.
What kind of things do you think sets your room
apart from others like it?
Honestly, what sets Luna apart from other rooms is
well the uniqueness of play that can be found there.
Sure, LKH is LKH, but I say that it is the co-owners
(neo2681 and Vendetta) and moderators of the
boards (debrat and q u i l l) that set it apart. They
are more than willing to sit with new people to help
them, and they are never afraid to explain things and
make sure everything is understood. Not to mention
that we can, and do, roleplay just about anything
that can be done in LKH and even a few things that
are more on the fringe of the setting - which incor-
porates the freeform side of things.
Tell us about the setting of Luna de los Cazadores?
The room has been set in the present day in
the LKH-verse, though unlike most of the
settings of rooms out there, this is set in
the city of Madrid, Spain. So, it is in a
country and continent where supernat-
urals are illegal and killed on sight. Not
to mention that the city is governed
by a secret council that is ruled over
by a corrupt cardinal from the Catholic
Church who had come in and “saved
the city.” Basically, that is the setting.
What kind of roleplay is done there? Is
it free form or strictly attached to a certain
foundation?
We like to think of it as well a room that welcomes
freeform and foundation roleplay. We do our best
to stick as close to the books as possible but not at
the expense of stifling someones creativity.

What is your favorite thing about the style of play done in your room?
That it has purposely been set up to allow creative ideas to be imple-
mented as much as possible.
What is the funniest thing you recall ever happening in play?
Well there are so many really! LoL. Though I can’t really bring one
scene to mind other then a few mix ups when people are double
windowing which is always hilarious, I guess. As far as in roleplay, well
that is a matter of personal perspective, I may do something funny
in role-play which may not be funny to someone else. So I will say
that besides a few “superman” flying leopards that smash through
windows, vampires decorating for Christmas and well, Chang’s dealing
with soccer-loving mates and drunken betas being lovey and stuff,
those are pretty much all that come to mind.
What is the steamiest?
Actually I don’t think there has been what you would call a “steamy”
moment in the room. Sure, a few close ones but nothing steamy
steamy. Maybe that is something that we need more of! LoL.
What would you like people to know about your room?
Mostly that it is always open to anyone, new or old, that wants to
through up a character, and even if you only have a basic idea about a
character then we are more then willing to help with the task of work-
ing with it to get the character into the room.
Is your room based on a book, movie, or your own imagination?
The room is based off two novels and the imagination of the players
involved in setting up and running the room. From LKH, both series in
fact - the Anita Blake series and the Merry Gentry series.
What is the foundation of the room?
LKH and creativity.
All work and no play
Have you had any events held in your room, if so what?
No, we have not had an event held in our room.
