It started out as dates that
Qristal blocked off in the
events and with that my
curiosity was peeked.
Why was she blocking out
such a great big pile of dates
as no one usually does that
unless it's the anniversary
event; yet it wasn't October,
it was the middle of June to
beginning of July.
So I waited and waited and
finally she posted the hints and
I was amazed.
The Gorlympics was something
that I got to see before the
public and I was truly amazed
at the time and effort that was
going into this event for the
Site as a whole.
Not just Gor, but the complete
site. It was something I was
interested in and something
that I was excited about. So
when it happened, I was there,
oh man was I there as much
as I could be, because well my
computer decided to be a brat
that day during my tarn fight.
So lets start off at the
beginning. There were eight
events that People could join
in on.
Eight different things grouped
off for a Free Man, Free
woman and Slave. Now
you didn't have to be any of
those things to join because
everyone character on site was
welcomed to join. You just
had to pick a status as a way
to figure out which events you
wanted to join in with and what
Nation you were going to battle
for. Now for me, I was joined in
on two nations; Nation of Kar
with my character, Natyanna,
a free woman of Port Kar,
and Nation of Rome with my
character, Greyson Hatch, a
were tiger from my own room,
Big Mountain Sky.
I joined a few of the events, like
Paga drinking with Greyson,
which was fun to do because
honestly a lycanthrope with
the gorean potent drink was
kind of fun. I learned that
next time I will only enter one
character because too much
for one person to do for Two
characters.
