Hello, ReVo!

ReVo SoVereign
What a blast of a summer we have had around ReVo! Gorlympics took us through the
sizzling heat with a vast array of events and prizes all the way up to a lifetime membership
given away just for participating in at least one of the eight events! It was a great time for the
site and its members as we begin to close in on our two-year mark.
Wow! Those two years have flown right by us and with many benchmarks reached quickly.
Surpassing all other similar sites for written entertainment, the sky is the limit and our
imaginations will take us all the way up there.
Looking forward, our anniversary is almost upon us. With that comes the start of the mad
holiday dash, beginning with Halloween. I think that is still one of the favoured celebrations
for many of us no matter our age and I expect there will be some shenanigans going on
around ReVo as we delve into the madness of all hallow’s eve.
There will be some Thanksgivings following that and I’m going to be first to tell everyone
how thankful I am for you all and for our home. Online has become a refuge, an escape, our
entertainment, but above that, it has become a connection. From the comforts of our homes
and on the fly, whether travelling or a homebody, we can still log in and find a friendly face, a
bitter ex, or a mind-blowing fantasy that we can connect with. It’s become just as important
to have a haven through technology as it is to have food and a roof overhead and there’s no
turning back from it now. There is only building it better and stronger. I am grateful for the
people sharing all of that with me and together we’re going to continue to soar.
Heading towards the end of the year, the Christmas holiday is hard to ignore, even for those
that don’t celebrate. It’s going to be everywhere and it will be alive on ReVo. We will have
trees up for everyone that wants one and I for one, look forward to seeing the spirit of giving
that is so prevalent year-round here, kicked into overdrive.
Celebrate the end of summer and don’t forget to cherish the change of seasons into the
autumn months because before you know it, winter is coming and you never know what
surprises we will spring on you when it does. HODOR!
