INDUSTRY INSIDE
What days and hours are you on?
Being a Floater on the Edge Radio I can come
on at any time through the day or night when
other Deejays are not scheduled to be around.
Usually, if not around for an event or two, I
often jump on in the mornings, because that’s
night time for me.
What is your preferred style and genre of
music?
Styles and genres are hard to place on my
tastes. I play almost everything - with the
exception of no country. Though if its for one
song, for a special request, I can be persuaded
to play a country song to make someone’s day.
Usually my playlists consist of energetic rock,
dubstep, hip hop and rap; some slower songs
and some considered to be pop as well. It all
depends on the day and requests that come in.
How long have you been DJing with
Edge Radio?
Since it all started! The Edge needed a good
Aussie influence about!
How do you normally prefer to recieve
requests?
Usually, in one of the fine rooms on ReVo that I
would be in Deejaying from, or through Skype if
I am on the list.
Where do you normally RP on ReVo?
Usually I could be anywhere jumping in the
deep end of some rooms genre, or hanging
out in the Erotica section and OOC rooms.
Most recently I’ve been seen in Newport in the
Supernatural Section a lot. I’m also known to
appear around Gor as well.
What kind of things can listeners expect
to hear upcoming on your shows?
Weird songs and stuff I find online or that
others send to me, me cursing and swearing in
an Aussie accent, and some great music from
around the world.
What one tip would you give to anyone
wanting to become a new DJ?
Enjoy yourself, have fun, it shows when you are
talking on air and will make others feel great
when
listening in
- and it’ll make
themwant to tune
in again.
Who’s your favorite artist of
all time?
Nirvana and Korn with out a doubt.
The 411:
ReVo Magazine
This month we want to shine some light on
our very own DJ Disturbed!
The Dirty:
If you could sleep with any one famous artist, who would it be?
Actress: Kate Beckinsale. I couldn’t think of a musician, and Kate..
I would do things to her that would make the devil himself blush.
Favorite Position?
Doggy style. (Beast Mode, BABY!!)
If you could win a million dollars by pushing a red button, but someone
random you know would die, would you do it?
I know a lot of idiots and assholes. But I wouldn’t wish death on them. I’d call them all up and
demand “1 million dollars or near to from each of them. Or enough from each to make up the
million, or I’d press the button and they could be the random person.” with the best Dr. Evil
impression. Then take the cash and know no one suffered much.
What is the first thing you’d buy?
A ticket around the world, making sure none of those assholes flew the plane.
Dumbest thing you’ve ever done while drunk?
Do this interview! Err I mean...this one time in DeeJay camp... -shifty eyes-
If you could bring back any past character into a roleplay who would it
be and why?
Hard to say, though none of my own characters. I would say it would be a rival of one of my
older characters, one my old vampire killed. Those rivalries were awesome; the fights, back-
stabbing, and plots were all fantastic. I just can’t remember all their names! But I would bring
them back to renew some battles.
Name a storyline that you’ve had in your head that you’ve always
wanted to try and bring to life if you could get enough people:
Oh man...the amount of things going on in my head. It’s not really the amount of people that
would be the hassle, if you make a good enough concept or idea and can keep it active, then
they will come. -chuckles- I’ve had ideas from fight clubs that include the mind and not just
muscle, to full blown universes with aliens and robotic golems where magic mushrooms
come to life and are superheros. My mind is a dangerous place to venture.
If you could meet any three people in real life, who would they be?
Stephen King: To sit down and just compare notes of those weird things in our minds.
Robert Downey Jr: who wouldn’t want to meet Iron Man. Plus he’s built himself back up from
a major downslide and just seems like a great guy to have a beer with. A lot of those I have
met online: Being in another country, there is a huge list of people I’d like to meet in real
life. Hopefully one day it’ll happen.
