anything, nothing was done
because in their culture that
was just the way things were
and the man was in charge no
matter what.
Stories like these broke my
heart, but the one that crushed
me was from this little girl from
Tibet, who was maybe 4 or 5.
We were on break one night
and she came and crawled up
in my lap, rested her head to
my chest and looked up at me.
She told me how she had been
saving money back home in her
piggy bank, but her dad found
it and beat her and took all of
her money away, so now she's
afraid to try and save anything.
Her mom said she will try to
give stuff away because she's
afraid her dad will come to
America and find her and beat
her again. Before we left NY
that same little girl found me
and wrapped her arms around
my legs and as she looked up
at me with her little bright eyes
she goes, "I am taking all of your
heart with me in my heart."
I didn't want to leave! I wanted
to stay up there and work with
them some more, but I am going
back next year.
What is your most embarrassing
moment in roleplay?
When things were getting, um,
a little hot and heavy in PM
between two chars...and I sort of
posted my post out in the open
instead of PM.
Is there anything else you'd
like to say to your readers or
listeners about you that they
might not already know?
Hmm. Everybody pretty much
knows everything there is to
know about me already, lol!
